Following your consultation, you'll receive a personalized proposal outlining the recommended scope of work and anticipated design investment for your project.
Depending on the scope, design services are structured in one of two ways:
FLAT-FEE DESIGN
Comprehensive projects with a clearly defined scope are typically offered at a flat design fee, allowing us to establish the full scope and investment from the beginning.
HOURLY DESIGN
Projects that are smaller in scope or more flexible in nature may be billed at our current hourly design rate of $200 per hour. Your proposal will include an estimated range of hours based on the anticipated scope.
Payment schedules and any required retainer will be outlined in your individual proposal.

Every project begins with a Discovery Consultation in your home. During our meeting, we'll walk through your space, discuss your goals, identify opportunities and answer your questions. Together, we'll determine the best path forward for your home and whether Studio Belle is the right fit for your project.
Following your consultation, you'll receive:
- A personalized design summary with room-by-room recommendations
- A recap of the ideas and priorities discussed during our meeting
- A customized proposal outlining the recommended scope of work and estimated investment, should you choose to move forward
After the meeting, you'll have a clearer understanding of your home's possibilities, our recommended direction and what it would look like to move forward with Studio Belle.
If additional consultation time is requested beyond the initial visit, it will be billed at the current hourly design rate.

Our favorite clients have opinions and personality. They appreciate color, pattern and the occasional unexpected idea. They're less interested in following trends or creating a home that looks like everyone else's and more interested in creating one that feels distinctly their own.
You don't need to know exactly what you want, that's part of why you hire a designer. We listen closely, learn how you live and what you're drawn to, then develop a cohesive vision and guide you through the decisions along the way.
The best projects are built on trust. We'll always want your honest feedback, but we'll also tell you when we think there's a better solution. Sometimes the idea you never would have considered on your own becomes the thing you love most.
